Moneybroker was set up in 2021 to do a simple, old‑fashioned thing: look after the affairs of a few families properly, rather than the affairs of many families approximately.
The firm keeps one office, in a stuccoed terrace in Knightsbridge. From it we advise on how capital is allocated, keep consolidated books across every bank and structure a family holds, and coordinate the professionals — lawyers, tax advisers, private bankers — on whom that family depends. We take on few clients and know them well; at several of our tables, three generations sit at once.
The name on our door is older than the work behind it. Money‑broking — standing between a client and the market and taking a margin on the flow — is precisely what we do not do. We broker nothing, hold nothing and sell nothing. We advise, and we are paid for advice alone.
That arrangement keeps the arithmetic honest. When the only fee is the family's, the only interest served is the family's — and the advice can afford to say no, which is most of what good advice says.

A conversation, usually an hour, always without documents. We listen to how the family is arranged, and to what quietly worries it.

With permission, we map everything — accounts, structures, properties, managers, fees. Many families see it drawn on one page for the first time.

The mandate
A written mandate in plain English: what we advise on, what we watch, what we may never do. Fees are flat and agreed in advance.

Stewardship
Quarterly statements, standing reviews, and a telephone that is answered by a person. Years pass; the mandate quietly compounds.

Not a fund
We pool nothing and run no vehicles of our own. Every piece of advice is drawn up for one family at a time.

Despite the name on the door — we take no margin on any transaction, and no counterparty pays us anything, ever.
